   The Association will again be sponsoring a booth at the Fort Worth Oktoberfest. The event is Saturday October 7th and Sunday, October 8th, 2000.  This will be our third year to participate in this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We will be running our ‘Lunker Plunker booth, shown above.  Players attempt to shoot ping-pong balls into the Speelunker’s baskets. All proceeds go to our organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We also sign up new members each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Oktoberfest has lots to do, even for the youngest children. For more information on the Fort Worth Oktoberfest, visit the event’s official site at: fwokt.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We are selling tickets by mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     Advance tickets are $4.00, $6.00 at the door.
     Children under Six are FREE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition to saving $2.00 with the advance tickets, we take $2.25 for the organization for each ticket sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To purchase tickets, send a check or money order to: Six Flags Former Employee’s Association, 700 NE Loop, Suite 214, Hurst, TX  76053.  Make checks payable to: Six Flags Association of Former Employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We must have your order by September 28, 2000, so do not order any later than September 25th, 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Booth volunteer’s must purchase their own tickets for each day that they work. (This is the Oktoberfest’s rule, not ours.) Of course, you can experience the event before and after your booth times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This is a great opportunity to support the organization and make some new friends. I encourage everyone to sign up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
