     The Former employees have been invited by Six Flags to participate in the Opening Ceremony for the 45th Anniversary Season.  A Signup registration form is now on-line.

   Details of this event are still be developed. In general, the park is planning a major ceremony for the opening of the Park for the 45th Anniversary Season.  Mr. Calloway, the General Manager will be speaking, as will other invited guests.  The media will be present.  Representatives of the new management should be present.

     The former employees will be present as a group. Event T-shirts will be provided to identify attendees.  The attendees will also get to visit the park for the day.  The event is free. 

      Although this event will be a great opportunity for everyone to visit with other former employees, it does not appear at this time that this event will serve as the 45th Anniversary Reunion that is also being planned for this year.  There isn’t enough time at this point to plan the additional activities that make a reunion a special activity. In addition, the time to promote the date is not rather short.

      So, unless you hear otherwise, the plan now is for a separate reunion at the park in a few more months.
